New direction?

For the past three years, I've posted pretty much five times a week. I have prided myself on being logical, if not particularly nice. You may absolutely find fault with my writing, my tone, and a million other aspects of this blog, but my hope is that it's very hard to point to one of my pieces and go "that's just totally illogical"!

I've picked on Jeff Pearlman, Tom Verducci, Peter King, Bill Simmons, Jon Heyman and hundreds of others for their puff pieces...I've picked on society...I've picked on the media...I have prided myself on the idea that no article or event was out of bounds.

I haven't been posting much over the past couple months mostly because I've been trying to figure out what to do with this blog. I don't think I am wrong to call people on their lack of logic, but I think I need to change the level of vitriol. Sure Peter King is a NFL Management stooge, but does that make him a bad person? Sure, Simmons sold out long ago (why does nobody else notice this?) and veered towards puff pieces...but is that really what I want to post about 250 times a year?

I think I need to add more original content rather than simply responding to others...I think I need to do slightly longer pieces...I think I need to post better and, as a result, less often.

So...the plan as of today is to go Monday-Wednesday-Friday...we'll see from there.
